Jinotega, a renowned coffee-growing region in Nicaragua, is celebrated for its Strictly High Grown (SHG) coffee, cultivated at altitudes of 1,200 meters (about 4,000 feet) and higher. This high elevation promotes slower maturation of coffee cherries, allowing them to absorb more nutrients and develop into denser, sweeter beans. The result is a premium quality coffee, meticulously processed to European Preparation (EP) standards, ensuring a minimum screen size of 15 and a maximum of eight defects per 300 grams.
